There’s change in the air and it smells wonderful. With the 2014 Festival on the horizon, we are very pleased to announce that ASB has signed on as the new naming rights sponsor of the Auckland Seafood Festival. With a new office near our venue in the heart of the city and a history of working with the Auckland community, ASB is the perfect fit. As always, any profits made are returned to the community. Since 2006, the Festival has donated over $400,000 to various charities. Together with ASB we can’t wait to add to that total.

Venue

The 2014 ASB Auckland Seafood Festival will be returning to Halsey Wharf, Wynyard Quarter! With its amazing views of the Waitemata Harbour and its location right in the heart of the city, this vibrant addition to the viaduct makes for a pretty spectacular setting to enjoy some of New Zealand's best seafood! Check out the Gallery to see for yourself!

There are a number of ways to get into the heart of the city and you can get directions to the Festival by clicking the button to the right. If you want our recommendation on your mode of transport, one of the most relaxing ways to get to the Auckland Viaduct is on one of the Fullers ferries. This is a great way to start your Festival experience, kicking back and floating aboard the seas that so much of our delicious seafood comes from. Click here for ferry times and fares.

About

The ASB Auckland Seafood Festival was created eight years ago to celebrate Auckland Anniversary weekend and New Zealand seafood. The event has always been a community project with all profits returned to charity. During the life span of the Festival, over $400,000 has been donated.

Since 2006, the Festival has grown considerably with new sponsors and stallholders involved each year. This three-day extravaganza of New Zealand seafood, musical acts, live cooking demonstrations and competitions is set in the heart of the city on Halsey Wharf, Wynyard Quarter, a working port right in the centre of Auckland's fishing industry.

Auckland's viaduct has always provided a fantastic setting for a day of fun, sun and seafood. We look forward to celebrating in 2014 with you!
