We’ve got so many new features at this year’s Auckland Seafood Festival and one of the standouts is Metro’s Dine on the Dockside. Showcasing the ever popular Oyster and Champagne tent – this is the where you want to be if you’re looking for a little extravagance.

The real star of the show is Electrolux Restaurant Alley, which will feature eight of Auckland’s best restaurants all serving their signature seafood dish. Make sure you stop by and have a look.

About

The Auckland Seafood Festival was created six years ago to celebrate Auckland’s Anniversary weekend and New Zealand seafood. The event has always been a community project with all proceeds going to charity. During the life span of the festival, over $340,000 has been donated.

Since 2006, the festival has grown considerably with over 22,400 people attending last year. This year we are hoping to make that number even bigger. This three-day extravaganza of New Zealand’s best seafood, musical acts, live demonstrations and competitions is set in the BIG little city, right in the heart of Auckland’s fishing industry. The various venues around Auckland’s waterfront that have housed the festival have always provided a spectacular setting for a wonderful day of fun, sun and seafood. This year’s venue, the Wynyard Quarter will be no different. We look forward to celebrating with you.
